Our mission is to help Mississippi become a
climate-kind state.
What We Do
We provide climate action, community engagement and education across communities of color, schools and municipalities.
Adaptation
We provide climate kind strategies, scientific expertise and technical support to local governments, municipalities, communities and businesses.
Mitigation
We offer and promote cost-effective strategies that minimize carbon footprints through energy efficiency, access to renewable energy sources, waste minimization, and resource conservation (with a special focus on carbon sequestration and carbon release prevention).
Education
We educate youth, the general public, community leaders and policy makers about the current and future damages from human impact on climate, and address available solutions to mitigate and adapt to the changes.
